Happy Tiger is a bingo and slots site on a standalone platform with unique games that have been designed to maximise entertainment value! They also all have a very decent Return To Player.

Happy Tiger is the brainchild of Danish operator CEGO, which has a 10 year history of producing games for the state owned operator in Denmark and brands focused on casual and recreational players. They expanded into Sweden in 2020 and now they have brought their “low stakes, high entertainment” ethos to the UK.

Getting Started at Happy Tiger

Opening an account at Happy Tiger is very easy but you do need to give them your mobile phone number. You can opt into marketing messages via SMS and via email separately and they don’t use telephone calls or snail mail. You’ll also be prompted to set a deposit limit before making a deposit to claim the welcome offer. And you’ll need a debit card to open an account as it is the only deposit method they currently accept.

Happy Tiger opened with just one bingo room, running 5 line 75 ball games every 5 minutes with tickets priced at 25p. 90 ball bingo has now been added, again with tickets priced at 25p each (you buy them individually and there’s no option to buy a strip, so if you buy multiple tickets you’ll get some repeated numbers).

There’s a maximum ticket purchase of 40 tickets per game and an initial default of 10 tickets, but once you’ve bought a different number of tickets that will be the new default for future games. In each and every game the full house winner has a chance of winning the £2500 Megaprize.

The way bingo works at Happy Tiger is that the line prizes are set in the usual way by ticket sales and the full house prize is a “Bingoflash”. 5 prize amounts, £2500 plus 4 or 5 other amounts, the lowest of which is slightly more than the highest line prize, are shown on screen and one of them becomes the full house prize. The RTP of Happy Tiger’s bingo game is 77% including the Megaprize and the room is busy enough for the other prizes to be worthwhile.

Happy Tiger ‘s proprietary slot games are really rather different to the usual fare. They typically have these features:

3 x 3 array made up of 9 reels each with one space
A horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of three of the same symbol pays (or triggers a bonus feature, depending on the symbol)
A win triggers a cascade or respin (which may have a multiplier)
Each game has several bonus features. Some play like traditional bonus rounds, others play alongside the base game for a set number of spins.
Most games have a regular jackpot (that game only) and a Super Jackpot (sitewide progressive jackpot)
Low maximum spin value of £3, minimum spin value of 10p or less
They have a good RTP of 96% – 97%, but much of it is tied up in the bonus features and jackpots and you’ll get a lot of non winning spins in the base game.

When you start to play one of the Happy Tiger slot games, you’ll be assigned your own instance of the game which is held for 48 hours after your last play unless you choose to release it. This means you can stop playing part way through a bonus feature and return to complete it later which isn’t allowed at most online casinos.
