Betnero is new in the UK for 2025; it’s an online casino and sportsbook on a platform that’s been used by just two other brands.

You may have heard of Caffe Nero, perhaps read about former emperor of the Roman empire Nero or watched a great movie featuring actor Robert De Niro but have you tried, seen or even heard of the unrelated Betnero? Probably not in the UK but if you are Italian or have lived or worked over there, in all likelihood you would have.

This casino and sportsbook was established in 2017 and prides itself on being “made in Italy.” Now operating in several countries with tremendous success, this brand new platform for 2025 in the UK is delivered by Anakatech Interactive. This smaller casino provider is most definitely making their mark with 7bet and Winomania also under their wing.

Noticeably but certainly not limited to just a sportsbook, their homepage features the welcome package on offer with a picture of the fisherman from the Big Bass Series of games. On the left in striking blue and white are links to pretty much everything this platform has to offer which includes the casino, sportsbook, live casino and other games to name a few. I did also notice the retroly named Slot Machine section. Their site is very well designed and navigating around is extra simple and all in one place.

When I joined I was prompted to verify my identity, this was optional and I could have done this at a later time, but I uploaded photo ID straight away which took a matter of seconds. The design and layout of the sports book is very good especially considering how new this platform is. It looks and feels overall better on mobile but both user platforms are very similar. There are quick links conveniently placed at the top of the page directing you to various sports, esports and virtuals, with other links to top football leagues and popular American sports. Although horse racing is available from around the world, when I visited there was no UK horse racing available even though Irish racing was. I do feel that all UK race meetings will become accessible once Betnero has settled in.

Everything else it does extremely well. It has a good in-play focusing on popular sports like football and niche sports like table tennis and ice hockey. Esports has its own dedicated area which is quite impressive and you can stream events live. There were quite a few odds boosts focusing generally on football.

A good feature here is a search function where you can find betting markets by team, individual or league name. Navigation overall is very slick and simple.

Slot Games at Betnero

The first thing I noticed is that the categorisation of games here is very good. You are able to access categories by means of the casino lobby or via the links across the left on desktop or within the white lines on mobile. I liked that slot tiles all vary in size and are not so regimented like you find on some other casino sites.

Lobby categories included trending games and new games which included Fat Fish Festival and Book of Monsters. There is a rather fully stocked Megaways area with old and new titles there. Games included favourites like Extra Chilli, Divine Fortune and Bonanza alongside newer titles like Space Wars Megaways extreme.

I’m not sure why I constantly smirked when visiting the slot machine area. This is basically home to all slot titles. I think it just reminds me of playing the then named fruit machines down a seaside arcade. Pragmatic Play’s Drop and Wins gets its own section too.

Alongside this is a powerful search function where you can search games by title if you know what you’re looking for. When you activate the search function a slick list of all Betnero’s game providers pop up, if you click or tap on said provider you instantly get all their games, very nice indeed.
